The Game

It's bocce for burglars! Fling your Blinks at the vault in an attempt to take the gold! The player who breaks the wall down gets the gold, but be careful not to make the job too easy for the next person… as we know there's no honor among thieves.

Keir says "Heist is a party game that blends thematic thievery with kinetic gameplay. It's loads of fun playing with friends and mastering your thief throw."

The Story

Keir first saw Blinks at Pax Unplugged in Philly and his wife picked up one of our dev kits.  Heist started out with the idea that a modular tabletop game should include some sort of "fling" mechanic. I loved the idea of throwing around the little hexagons, which are immensely fun to spin and slide on a table. It was an easy jump to make from sliding a blink to hitting another, and so Heist was born.

Originally it was medieval themed, but the fast gameplay and subtle colors fit the thief motif much more.
What do you like best about Blinks? about developing games on Blinks?
I really love the innovation that Blinks brings to tabletop gaming. The idea of many games in one board feels fresh and fun. Developing games for Blinks is a blast because it gives you immediate, fun feedback, and your imagination is the only limit for the games to be made.
