All Blinks ship with batteries included. There is no need to charge Blinks, they run on replaceable CR-2032 batteries (the same kind you use in a watch or Apple Airtag).

Blinks are designed to maximize battery life, with up to 40 hours of gameplay. To extend your battery life, store your Blinks in their included Sushi Roll case to keep them asleep when not in use. Blinks will go to sleep after 10 minutes of inactivity or can be put to sleep by holding down a single Blink in a cluster until they all go to sleep.

Blinks should run for 40+ hours of active gameplay. There are a lot of power-management features to extend battery life. We do suggest putting your Blinks to sleep before putting them away. See the Getting Started Guide for how to replace them

Very durable.

Blinks are manufactured and drop tested in the same factory that LEGOs are produced… we think LEGOs are pretty durable (sorry ‘bout your feet).

The earliest production Blinks have over 3 years use and they work just as well as the day we got them. The material used for the sides is bulletproof, and the top membrane which is soft to the touch does get marked up by finger nails over time, but this is only noticeable when not in use.

Blinks are enjoyed by all ages. Most games are designed for ages 8+. Parental supervision is recommended for children under 14 yrs of age.
