What is Blinks?
Blinks is the world's first smart tabletop game system – built with AI-powered intelligent game pieces that respond to your touch, communicate with each other, and think for themselves. Every piece knows its own game and can learn new games. Blinks are completely modular, so the more Blinks you have, the bigger games and experiences you can create.
How Many Games are there for Blinks?
The Core Set and Expansion Set ship with rules for a total of 14 Games.
The Community Set adds 6 awesome games to the library, designed and developed by a curated set of game designers from the Blinks developer community.
The Epic Adventure adds 6 more EPIC games to the lineup
Blinks currently has a game library of 21 published titles and many more in development.
*In most cases, we publish a single game on a single Blinks, however, in the Expansion Set, we published 3 games for a single Blink. The games on the Widgets Blink have wildly different, fun, strategic and social dynamics that keep us playing for hours. And by design it can be used to create and play your own games without limitation.
How are Blinks powered?
Each Blink is powered by a single, replaceable battery. Specifically, it uses a Cr2032 coin cell battery, the kind you find in a wristwatch or key fobs.
How long do batteries last?
Blinks should run for 40+ hours of active gameplay. There are a lot of power-management features to extend battery life. We do suggest putting your Blinks to sleep before putting them away. See the Getting Started Guide for how to replace them
Are Blinks waterproof?
Blinks are water resistant, meaning that you can use then at the bar or dinner table (given that the table master approves). We don’t recommend playing in the shower or pool 🙂.
Are Blinks durable?
Yes, they are drop tested in the same factory that LEGOs are produced… we think LEGOs are pretty durable (sorry ‘bout your feet).
Moreover, we've been carrying and playing with our early production Blinks for over a year and a half and they work just as well as the day we got them. The material used for the sides is technically bulletproof, and the top membrane which is soft to the touch does get marked up by finger nails over time, but this is only noticeable when not in use.

When will new games be released?
Move38 will be releasing 12 new games each year. 6 in the first half of the year, and 6 later in the year. We’re collaborating with world class game designers as well as publishing games from game jams and our community. Blinks are open-sourced, meaning you can also design your own games and load them onto your blinks with the developer kit, and share with friends.
Can I distribute my own games on Blinks?
Move38 will not stop you from loading your own games onto Blanks and distributing them to friends, family, and your community
How do I turn Blinks on/off?
- To Turn on – press once
- To Turn off – press and hold your Blink for 6 seconds 'til the Blink goes dark

How do I clean Blinks?
Wipe with a gentle cloth and isopropyl alcohol or soapy water
How should I store Blinks?
Store your Blinks inside your roll or in the box.
We suggest to NOT put the roll rubberside down on top your Blinks for extended periods of time as staining may occur.
